- Simply place the mat on the floor, bed, or massage table, plug it into the power outlet, and select the desired heat settings.
- Wait for about 15 minutes to allow the mat to reach its proper temperature.
- During the heating time, you can get ready with some relaxing music, a large glass of water, a tower for dabbing away sweat, or a mylar blanket to create an infrared sauna experience.
- To make a far infrared sauna with your mat, turn up the heat to the max setting, which should be 158 degrees Fahrenheit or 78 degrees Celsius.
- Lay on the mat and relax for 30 minutes to an hour. If you are not sweating freely after an hour, you may extend your treatment another 30 minutes for a total of 1.5 hours.
- Once your gemstone infrared sauna session is over, take a shower as you normally would and continue with your day.
- You can use the far-infrared mat daily if desired but always make sure to stay hydrated when using it.
